Extra Storage Space

Traditional storage developers keep it simple: build units, fill them, collect rent. But DXD Capital digs deeper, harnessing data to uncover communities’ gaps – and then constructing solutions that fill them. In Rhode Island, Cameron Paktinat, who leads the
development team, explained that their research revealed a need for both storage and
childcare, so they designed a colonial-style facility with a daycare center adjacent to it.

Now, DXD has brought that same community-driven approach to a 350-unit
facility in the heart of Līpoa.

When DXD’s data-driven team analyzed Maui, they spotted a critical need: limited storage supply as both Līpoa and the surrounding community’s residential and commercial growth takes off. Their solution: a facility designed to serve everyone from residents to startups to major tech companies. The facility, which opened in Summer 2025, offers month-to-month flexibility without
long-term lease commitments. Units range from compact 5-foot-by-5-foot spaces to 10-foot-wide by 40-foot-long drive-up units — large enough for sizable vehicles. They offer a practical solution for storing everything from outdoor gear to household overflow, small business inventory, and equipment.

With gated access, individual entry codes, and comprehensive camera systems, the facility prioritizes security and convenience. Managed by Extra Space Storage, it addresses what DXD’s research revealed: a growing community needing space to serve residents, entrepreneurs, and established businesses alike. As Paktinat explained, “Any project we’re going into, we’re going to be a part of that community.”
